Gorilla Zoe Mixtapes and How They Made History

It is possible to learn to improve your vocal range. Most people believe their voice is just what it is and it cannot be changed. This is just not true. The upper and lower ranges can be pushed gently over time. Vocal exercises can improve range and tone. The voice will need to be exercised just like a muscle. The more it's used the stronger it gets.

Understanding Rap and Hip Hop Music

The Bravery hit the headlines in 2005 with their self title debut album, featuring the enormously catchy 'Honest Mistake'. On the back of this single with its curious mix of New Order-esque bouncing synth rhythms and classic rock soaring guitar lines, this angry young band achieved large scale success in the 'popular indie' market in the UK at the same time as the likes of the Kaiser Chiefs and The Killers. Fast forward to 2011, and the 'average punter' in London's music scene has probably never heard of The Bravery. Why? A dispute with their UK publisher meant that The Bravery couldn't release their music on this side of the Atlantic for the last 6 years. Selfish of those record company folks, right? Not to worry. The band is back now and, damn it, they're just as angry as they ever were! They proved as much in four performances during their month-long residency at the Hoxton Bar and Kitchen in London's East End.

Why Do Cardboard Furniture Craft?

No other artists have been so closely identified with each other as Paul Gauguin and Vincent Van Gogh. Their often volatile relationship has been dramatized in both books and Hollywood movies, marked by Vincent's cutting off his ear, an incident that seems to be universally know, whatever your background in art. However, they always remained friends, until Van Gogh's death by suicide, bonded by their love of art and Vincent's memorable sunflowers that haunted Gauguin for the rest of his life.

Watch: NBC Releases An Unaired Justin Timberlake Skit From Saturday Night Live

Justin Timberlake hosted the season finale episode of Saturday Night Live over the weekend and, for the most part, won praise for his pretty funny comic stylings. Last month we got to check out the first official movie poster for the very last Harry Potter film, due out in theaters next month. Today we get to check out the second poster release for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 which features a battle-worn Harry looking very much worse for the wear. With the tagline, IT ALL ENDS, Warner Bros. wants you to be well aware that this is THE END.

“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2,” is the final adventure in the Harry Potter film series. The much-anticipated motion picture event is the second of two full-length parts. In the epic finale, the battle between the good and evil forces of the wizarding world escalates into an all-out war. The stakes have never been higher and no one is safe. But it is Harry Potter who may be called upon to make the ultimate sacrifice as he draws closer to the climactic showdown with Lord Voldemort.

It all ends here.

“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2” stars Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson, reprising their roles as Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. The film’s ensemble cast also includes Helena Bonham Carter, Jim Broadbent, Robbie Coltrane, Warwick Davis, Tom Felton, Ralph Fiennes, Michael Gambon, Ciarán Hinds, John Hurt, Jason Isaacs, Matthew Lewis, Gary Oldman, Alan Rickman, Maggie Smith, David Thewlis, Emma Thompson, Julie Walters and Bonnie Wright. The film was directed by David Yates, who also helmed the blockbusters “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix,” “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” and “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1.” David Heyman, the producer of all of the Harry Potter films, produced the film, together with David Barron. Screenwriter Steve Kloves adapted the screenplay, based on the book by J.K. Rowling. Lionel Wigram is the executive producer. Behind the scenes, the creative team was led by director of photography Eduardo Serra, production designer Stuart Craig, editor Mark Day, composer Alexandre Desplat, visual effects supervisor Tim Burke, and costume designer Jany Temime. Warner Bros. Pictures presents a Heyday Films production, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows,” which marks the last installment in the most successful film franchise of all time. “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2” will be released worldwide in theatres and IMAX, in 3D and 2D, beginning July 15, 2011.”

Oh man … OH MAN … the end is SO near! I suspect we’ll be seeing posters of Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley as well as other HP characters. This is a great poster. I am SO dreading the end of Harry Potter but, woo, I am loving the promo stuff we’ve been given thus far.

Pedal Board Gig Bags

A guitar is a string instrument which is generally played with a pick or fingers. It consists of a body and a neck to which strings, usually 6 in number, are fastened. Traditionally guitars were made of wood. However, the modern version is made using various polycarbonate materials. Guitars can be broadly classified into two main categories: electric and acoustic. The acoustic guitars are usually made of wood and have been used for more than a thousand years. The electric guitar is a modern version and was introduced in 1930s.

Music Icons And Their Place In Music History

After I had owned my very first cheap electric guitar for about 6 months I thought about changing the strings and as I had only been cleaning it with a damp cloth (without using any specific cleaning product) I thought it was be a good time to do it properly. OK, I know I should have done it before, but I was too busy learning! So, after removing the strings, I watched a video on the net about how to clean a guitar.

As I stated in the other article, a wedding has many light sources and these light sources compete to be the main light in your photos. Five Essential Paul McCartney Albums You Should Have

Could someone within the realm of pop music sing the telephone directory and make a successful career out of it? I feel that ludicrous statement could be applied to the wonderful English rock/pop vocalist Paul Carrack who, over a varied career spanning 30 years or more, has proved himself to be an outstandingly gifted singer (and no mean songwriter). As a solo artist or in bands such as Ace, Squeeze and Mike and The Mechanics, he's applied a meticulously crafted, spine-tingling delivery to practically everything he's worked on.

The Best Paul McCartney Band Guitarists, 1970 2010

As an integral part of The Beatles, it is widely acknowledged that Paul McCartney is one of the most talented, versatile and hard-working pop composers that has ever lived. Since their break-up in 1970, ratified by a court ruling some 12 months later which dissolved The Beatles as a business partnership, McCartney has continued to produce music on a regular basis of a consistently high standard, although perhaps not scaling the heights he achieved with the Fab Four.

thomas dekker opens up about open sexuality

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles fans of all genders, rejoice! When it comes to relationships, Thomas Dekker is open to anything.

The Terminator: TSCC/Heroes/Nightmare on Elm Street actor opened up about his sexuality during a recent interview and had the following to say about it:

"I've only really had relationships with women, but I'm certainly not closed to it. If there are possibilities of being able to do anything in life, why would you say you would never take any up?"

"In the later chunk of my teen years I was so all over the place with sex. It was terrible. I never really had a real relationship at all. During puberty, it's all about sex, and it's all about figuring yourself out. I think I overdid it when I was younger."

So there you have it, folks! Thomas Dekker is officially an equal opportunity free agent!

Are U excited to hear about Dekker's open sexuality?

Jessica Simpson Shows Off Her Multiple Personalities On Twitter

Jessica Simpson, who appeared in a sharing mood yesterday, posted a fun photo on her official Twitter profile that showed off her many moods and personalities. At last … after many years of hoping, praying, talking … then planning and waiting … Scream 4 finally opened in theaters here in the US yesterday. It seems like a lifetime ago that we first heard that the Scream film franchise was being rebooted with a new sequel and an ice age since the last film was released in theaters … but Scream 4 is out. I was able to see the film at a showing yesterday and I am very happy to reveal that I LOVED it entirely and believe it to be a very worthy sequel to the amazing Scream horror franchise.

I was very happy to see that Scream 4 manages to update the “horror movie rules” formula while still staying true to the spirit that we all know and love from the first 3 Scream films. The opening kill scene is just BRILLIANT. It’s so meta that I can’t even properly describe what happens … you’ll have to see it for yourselves. The movie is funny AND bloody. It seemed to be the bloodiest Scream movie yet … which is right on par with the way the sequels should be (tho I have to give the edge of the funniest Scream film to Scream 3, primarily because of Parker Posey‘s brilliant performance … and because of Courteney Cox‘s outrageously severe bangs). There is a nice dichotomy between the original cast and the new generation and the story twists and turns so much that you really do not know who the killer is (or killers are) until the body count whittles down the suspects … and even then, you really can’t be sure until that ghostface mask comes off. Be warned … NO ONE is safe in this film. If you have a fave character — either old or new — you better be prepared to see them skewered cuz in this film, anyone can die at any time. If I have one complaint about the film, it would be how long the ending dragged on. As you Scream fans should know, the killer always comes back for one last scare … but this time, that come back is quite long and drawn out. BUT, the movie is so good you kinda don’t want it to end so … more movie means more scares. I really had no idea how they were going to reboot the Scream franchise and make it both new AND true to the original films which came out a decade ago. I was very pleased to see that Scream 4 is a fun reboot of the franchise … and I’m DYING to see where the story will go next in Scream 5 … and Scream 6? Do yourselves a favor, go see Scream 4. If you love the original films, I think you’ll really get a kick out of and will enjoy this film a lot.

Austin Powers Actor, Joseph Hyungmin Son, Sentenced To Life In Prison

Joseph Hyungmin Son, the Austin Powers actor, today was sentenced to life in prison without parole. On August 25th, he was found guilty of a felony count of torture after he was linked to a 1990 gang rape of a then 19-year-old woman in California via DNA evidence. It was Christmas Eve 1990 when the 19-year-old victim, known as Jane Doe in court records, was walking her dog by her apartment complex. She was abducted by Son and Santiago Lopez Gaitan. The two drove the woman to Huntington Beach where she was raped and sodomized at gunpoint, even pistol whipped and was told repeatedly that she was going to die. They eventually let her go, naked, and severely injured. They blindfolded her with her own slacks and somehow she made it to a nearby home where authorities were called. The police did gather evidence from the victim, but sadly, nothing came of the case. Fast forward to 2008, when Son was arrested for vandalism and violated his probation. He now had to submit a DNA sample. That was all it took to link him to the evidence obtained from the victim in 1990. Now he will serve life in prison [...]
