There are many ways to learn how to play an instrument. This also depends on what kind of music you want to play and how you want to play it. The difference between a classical guitarist and a rock guitarist is striking. If, however, you are simply wanting to strum out some of your favorite songs, then this way of learning is by far the quickest and most fruitful.
